I caught up with this family for the first time since Ella was born, to celebrate her half birthday with a relaxed afternoon at Cabarita Beach. What began as a soft, overcast day turned into something truly special when a brief downpour sent us running for cover beneath a park shelter — and then the sun broke through, wrapping the beach in the most beautiful golden light.
